Mobile App Developer – Sunderland (Hybrid Remote) - £55k

Flutter/React Native | Tech for Good

| Greenfield Projects | 2 days per week in office | Flexible Hours | People-focused Culture | Award-winning Business

Our client, with offices on the outskirts of Sunderland, are looking for a Hybrid Mobile App Developer to join their in-house dev team as they continue to build a number of web and mobile apps internally to support across every domain in the business. This role is the first Mobile specialist developer, joining an established development function, to spearhead their journey in hybrid Mobile App development. As such, they are flexible on stack but are currently considering either Flutter or React Native.

The company boast a very flexible approach to work with people centric culture designed to allow staff to manage their work around their life – not the other way around. This is brilliant for those with responsibilities outside of work such as childcare or school runs. They also offer hybrid remote working, meeting up in the offices twice a week with the rest of the team – though there is also a degree of flexibility around this too.

To Be Considered:

  • Demonstrable experience with Hybrid Mobile App Development (preferably Flutter/React Native)
  • Demonstrable experience leading mobile development projects end-to-end
  • Excellent experience with either JavaScript / Dart
  • Strong testing experience (preferably TDD)
  • Knowledge of AWS is preferred but not essential

Alongside an excellent working environment, there is also a competitive benefits package including an unrivalled progression opportunity, bonus schemes and a generous holiday allowance. The salary banding for the role will be circa £55,000.

We are anticipating a strong response to this Mobile App Developer role, so please get in contact for more details or send a CV to for consideration.
