Adecco is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client, an established and reputable company well-known within their industry. Due to maternity leave, our client is seeking a dedicated individual to join their finance team for a 6-month period.
Salary: £26,000 P/A
Key Requirements:
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience in all aspects of credit control.
- Familiarity with credit agencies and associated processes.
- A professional telephone manner and excellent communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Confidence in working with Excel spreadsheets and Outlook.
- Experience with SAP Business One (advantageous, but not essential).
Key Responsibilities:
As a Credit Controller, you will be:
- Fully responsible for managing your own ledger.
- Proactively contacting customers to ensure timely payments and meeting both individual and team targets.
- Accurately allocating all incoming payments to customer accounts.
- Collaborating with internal departments, nationwide branches, and external stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
- Handling customer inquiries via phone and either addressing queries or directing them to the appropriate departments.
- Maintaining an up-to-date and detailed ledger, following company procedures for notifying/escalating potential bad debts.
