**Key Responsibilities:

  • Tax Compliance and Reporting:

  • Prepare and review corporate tax returns, ensuring they comply with UK tax laws and regulations.

  • Manage the preparation and submission of quarterly and annual tax provisions.

  • Handle tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities efficiently and effectively.

  • Tax Planning and Advisory:

  • Offer strategic tax planning advice to clients, focusing on minimizing tax liabilities and enhancing tax efficiency.

  • Provide guidance on tax implications related to various business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions.

  • Conduct thorough research on complex tax issues and provide well-documented advice.

  • Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as the primary contact for all tax-related matters.

  • Clearly and effectively communicate complex tax concepts to clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Assist in preparing and delivering client presentations and proposals.

  • Research and Analysis:

  • Stay updated on changes in UK tax laws and regulations, evaluating their impact on clients and the business.

  • Perform detailed research on intricate tax matters and provide well-supported conclusions.

  • Collaborate with other tax professionals to develop innovative tax solutions and best practices.

  • Team Leadership and Development:

  • Mentor and guide junior tax staff, offering technical support and professional development.

  • Assist in recruiting and onboarding new team members.

**Qualifications and Skills:

  • ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in corporate tax, preferably within a public accounting firm or large corporate setting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of UK corporate tax laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience in tax compliance, planning, and advisory services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adhere to deadlines.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
