DK Recruitment is working with an award-winning company to help them find a Financial Reporting Accountant. This is a key role, essential in maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders both within and outside the company.
The Role
As Financial Reporting Accountant, you will act as a main point of contact for external accounting teams and play a vital role in financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly reports for the parent company
- Ensuring accuracy in financial transactions and compliance with agreements
- Supporting the preparation of tax packs and liaising with external advisors
- Providing financial expertise to the finance team
- Handling advanced accounting tasks during month-end processes
- Managing complex or unusual financial transactions
- Assisting with audits and annual accounts preparation
- Supporting internal control processes
- Providing ad-hoc support to senior finance staff as needed
About You:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards
- Good understanding of financial compliance in large organizations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in IT systems, including ERP systems and Excel
- Great interpersonal skills and the ability to perform well under pressure as part of a busy team
