Full Time – Permanent

Field Sales – (Central East location)

£42,500 per annum + Car + Bonus

Main Duties:

  • Achieve total revenue & growth business targets on a monthly & annual basis.
  • Deliver & promote new service offerings as arising.
  • Driving new & existing customer sales for the Treatment Division.
  • Directly manage and grow the allocated ‘top 20' regional accounts.
  • With a customer first approach, always deliver excellent customer service & communication.
  • Deliver incoming waste to meet volume requirements of existing / new processes and routes.
  • Develop & maintain excellent internal relationships with Operations, Technical Sales and Finance teams as critical stakeholders in the sales process.
  • Work closely with the Internal Sales Team and Technical Sales Department to maximise opportunities for the business including performing site visits to support internal sales as required.
  • Prepare and submit timely monthly sales report to include all sales generated and market intelligence.
  • Research, identify and develop new potential customers & market opportunities.
  • Ensure pride in our brand and brand consistency of all internal & external communications.
  • Work with key stakeholders for the response to bids and tenders.

Competencies & Personal Specification -

Critical Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Experience of technical waste sales within the hazardous waste industry essential.
  • Experience of negotiating with customers and suppliers.
  • Proven track record of sales growth against targets.
  • Experience of sales performance metrics.
  • Competent Microsoft office user, in particular Excel.

Critical Qualifications and Training:

  • HNC or above in Chemistry an advantage.
  • Experience of SAP and advantage.
  • Has the ability to influence and motivate others.
  • Communicates well at all levels including executive level.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
