Our Services Procurement business delivers a cutting-edge solution to Public and Private Sector customers which is at the forefront of the growth in Services Spend Management across the UK. Having had our fifth consecutive year of growth we are looking at shaping the business to deliver another 5-years of growth and further increase the range of services we offer to delight and excite our customers. Part of our growth plans include investment in our outbound consulting teams, the breadth and depth of our procurement expertise and our customer facing category teams.

The role . . .

As part of our Growth Plans, we are introducing a new role for Customer Success Manager within our Professional Services team to look to build and develop upon our existing customer relationships. As such, we are looking for an experienced Professional Services Account Director to join our team at Consultancy+ in a hands-on, solutions focused, customer facing role. In this role you will have the opportunity to drive efficiencies, help shape our service offering and build-out how we can develop and implement a category approach. However, this is not a standard Account Management role, alongside taking responsibility for customer relationships and growing our impact within these customers from a savings and commercial return perspective, you will also help us to design and deliver impactful procurements to our customers.

This will be a challenging, rewarding and wide-ranging role. As such we need someone driven to succeed and who is always wanting to go the extra mile for our customers and to improve our business - so we want the best. Key elements of the role include:

  • Creating the blueprint and growth plan for the Customer Success Team - processes, skills etc
  • Owning our customer success and growth strategies
  • Undertaking periodic and quarterly service review with key strategic customers
  • Customer stakeholder mapping across core stakeholders to raise awareness of the services we can offer and maximise the customers opportunity to delivery value
  • To be a strategic advisor to our public sector clients during their procurement process, helping them make good decisions.
  • Take charge of complex procurement projects from design to realisation, supporting our teams and clients to get the job done right.
  • Solution design alongside sales to ensure our service solutions are fit-for-purpose for the demands of that organisation
  • Working with delivery on growth planning and customer success for operational accounts
  • Networking with prospective customers through procurement events and forums and share your knowledge to ensure we're following the best practices to satisfy our clients.
  • Continuous improvement across our business and procurement processes to help us keep growing and succeeding.

About you...

Attitude is everything for us in Consultancy+, but alongside that there are a number of core skills that would help the right person success in the role. Please remember these are not essential skills, but they give an idea as to what would help someone hit the ground running:

  • Account Management or customer services experience
  • A growth mindset, always looking to improve things and broaden services to our customers
  • CIPS qualified or part-qualified.
  • A leader capable and taking our customers and our colleagues on a journey of 'better never stops'
  • Previous experience in a professional services category management role
  • Public Sector procurement and contract management legislation knowledge and experience.
  • Knowledge of relevant of contract law and commercial legislation.
  • Extensive knowledge of best practice procurement principles and methodologies.
