This business come from a manufacturing background and with recent advancements in their R&D strategy, are a market leader in the production of unique health equipment, which is used across the nation by those that they need it.

The Mission

As the demand for their services surges, it's important now more than ever before to have an effective data strategy and that's where you come in. Right now there are a couple of systems, including Power BI, Sage and unique real-time product, which are used daily. The mission here is to create an all-in-one dashboard using Power BI, which gives the users of the business the data they need, as opposed to pushing reporting requirements in the way that they current are.

The Role

This will be the first specialist technical position that the company invest in, as part of their new strategy. You will work with the business to understand the requirements of the data users, whilst championing a data governance strategy to improve the quality of data collected and help to increase the data literacy across the group.

This is a key role to the organisation and your work will be recognised throughout the business. This is a great opportunity to deliver an effective data strategy and technology roll out, which will help to extend the work of this business to more people who need it.

To be considered, you'll come from a role(s) with significant experience of Power BI from both a reporting and dashboarding perspective. In addition to this, you may have experience of:

  • SQL, maybe ETL processes too
  • Sage or other payroll products
  • A background in healthcare and/or manufacturing
  • Stakeholder management
