Senior Integration Engineer

The Role

As Senior Integration Engineer, you will be pivotal in the seamless execution and delivery of complex projects. You will orchestrate the integration and takeover activities, ensuring that every piece falls into place across a diverse portfolio. With a keen eye on stakeholder engagement and a firm grip on the Integration and Takeover strategy, you will navigate through the intricacies of project lifecycles. You will use you engineering expertise to provide technical and strategic advice, whilst you monitor KPIs, manage risks, and maintain the delicate balance between various project phases. You will work harmoniously within project teams, while also managing external contractors, ensuring that projects not only meet but exceed the expected outcomes. You contribution will be testament to the importance of leadership, foresight, and technical acumen in the successful delivery of UU's capital programs.

Key Responsibilites

  • Oversee the Authority to Operated (ATO) process, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety (H&S) regulations and UU best practices, and authorise the integration of new assets
  • With support for UU, become a SQEP/SME for integration and, via the Safety and Reliability Society (SaRS), attain professional membership and chartership
  • Manage risks by identifying potential issues and implementing mitigation strategies during the startup and takeover phases
  • Collaborate with UU Technical Officers to ensure all project activities adhere to UU permit requirements, escalating high-risk situations when necessary
  • Develop and maintain the ATO plan and tracker, chairing related meetings and ensuring the distribution of minutes and actions
  • Provide technical support and training for UU operations, including the creation of training materials and the analysis of training effectiveness

Skills & Experience

  • Qualified to degree level/HND equivalent or have equivalent skills, knowledge and experience
  • Experience of providing technical advice, influencing and directing the delivery of successful engineering

  • Detailed working knowledge and experience of Integration Takeover processes & philosophies
  • Hold a current Full UK driving licence
