Manufacturing Operative
Location: Huddersfield, HD3
Duration: Temporary - Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday 6AM - 2PM
Pay Rate: £12p/h
Stafflex are actively looking for manufacturing operatives on behalf of our client, one of the UK's leading manufacturers of bathtubs and shower trays.
If you are willing to learn, are reliable and have a good eye for detail this is the role for you!
Duties:
- Trimming excess material from bath tubs ./ bath panels using a saw machine and hand held power tools
- Filling the edges after trimming
- Adding the correct fixtures
- Packing the finished product
- Stacking the stock onto pallets
- Shrink wrapping ready for dispatch
- Manual handling and heavy lifting involved
Desired Qualities / competencies:
- Good communication
- Great eye for detail
- Experience in a production / manufacturing environment
- Willingness to learn
- Working on your own initiative
- Reliable
- OK with heavy lifting
