About Plug Me In

Plug Me In – EV is part of the Calisen Group who is a leading owner and manager of essential energy infrastructure assets. As well as a provider of meter installation, meter reading, electric vehicle charging, maintenance and ancillary services, whose purpose is to accelerate the development of a cleaner, more efficient, and sustainable energy segment. EV charging will reinforce Calisen's role in helping to roll-out energy transition assets in support of reaching Net Zero.

Responsibilities:

Own and co-ordinate the continual development of all existing processes and standards, identifying and eliminating waste

Continually seek tactical and strategic opportunities to identify areas for of improvement through the review of current operational performance and KPI metrics.

Host and lead problem solving sessions identifying and resolving root causes

Scope, define and deploy of improvements in the current ways of working capturing both tangible and non-tangible benefits.

Work alongside Business Area Managers to help resolve barriers and make step changes in their business process performance

Understand current performance and baselines and track performance both pre and post change.

Working with the internal/external stakeholders, identify and support the delivery and implementation of small change to Local IT systems and Business Processes that influence performance

Managing the alignment of methods and knowledge to ensure alignment with Operational best practices

Where applicable, standardise ways of working, documentation and processes across departments.

Explore new technologies, tools and techniques and implement within the operation where appropriate

Identification and raising of change proposals where required.

Person Specification:

Experience working within / with teams delivering change

Experience with documentation and standardisation.

Experience identifying and implementing improved ways of working.

Experience of communicating and influencing at all hierarchical levels.

Proven leadership experience

Skills / Competencies:

Stakeholder management skills

Detailed process mapping

Value stream mapping

Strong facilitation capabilities

Computer literate with ability to operate Microsoft Office and email.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail

Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.

Excellent organisational and administrational skills.
