Financial Services Administrator - Home Based

Salary of up to £28,000 (dependant on experience) + Benefits

Full time (40 hours per week)

Home based role - ideally within a commutable distance to London

Oak Private Wealth is a small, happy company that is directly registered with the FCA. We manage over £120M for 120 families in a well-established client base.

We are looking for an individual with some experience in financial administration within an IFA office, whether with an independent advisor or a larger firm. A strong willingness to learn is our top priority. Our current senior administrator will guide and mentor you, ensuring you learn the role and develop your skills.

You will need to travel to London occasionally for team meetings or conferences as needed. However, the role is predominantly home-based, so a positive attitude and the ability to work independently while being part of a supportive team are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Send letters of authority and gather information from service & product providers, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Obtain illustrations, pre-populate application forms, and check new business documentation for accuracy.
  • Process business applications efficiently, maintaining all supporting documentation as per company procedures.
  • Liaise with service & product providers for timely and accurate client responses.
  • Prepare client documentation and correspondence pre and post meetings, ensuring all action points from client meetings are completed.
  • maintain back-office systems and take ownership of project work on those systems.
  • Complete valuations of clients' accounts.
  • Providing ongoing service to all clients, replying to queries in a timely manner.

Essential skills

  • Some experience gained in a financial planning role within an IFA office
  • Desire to work in the administration side of the business.
  • Highly organised, methodical and disciplined.
  • Excellent IT skills including industry systems (knowledge of Intelliflo's Intelligent Office back-office system is desirable, but not essential).
  • Motivated with the ability to work from home.
  • The ability to analyse and query information.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
