We are delighted to be working with a leading software business based in Newcastle who are seeking a Management Accountant to join their team and support the Finance Director. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Management Accountant to work as part of a dynamic, collaborative organisation. The Role
The Management Accountant duties will include:
- Perform monthly financial reporting including month end journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, etc.
- Monitoring cash flow
- Liaising with auditors during annual monitoring & assisting in the preparation of Annual Accounts
- Managing all payroll activity
- Producing VAT and other HMRC required returns
- Assisting in the preparation of reports
The Person
The requirements for the Management Accountant role are:
- Significant experience of management accounts preparation, gained preferably within an SME environment
- Self-starter accustomed to working in fast paced and dynamic environments
- Ability to communicate effectively within multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience using Sage Accounting Software and Sage Payroll is desirable.
