This role is pivotal in managing and coordinating the maintenance of fully automated production machinery and associated raw material processing equipment. You will also play a key role in the site's Health and Safety Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the current maintenance team.
- Oversee the Planned Preventative Maintenance scheme.
- Maintain and enhance Health and Safety Systems.
- Identify and propose process improvements.
- Justify, implement, and appraise small-scale improvement projects.
- Manage spare part stock and procurement.
Key Requirements:
- HNC level education in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Ability to evaluate mechanical, electromechanical, and electrical systems to identify performance and diagnose faults.
- Understand process and equipment measurements to evaluate performance.
- Prioritise and plan work demand effectively.
- Maintain and update personal technical knowledge of engineering systems.
- Work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and a creative approach to new ideas.
- Show high levels of commercial awareness and product appreciation.
