**Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated FP&A Accountant to join our client's finance team on a temporary basis for 3 months. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present monthly financial reports, including variance analysis and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Budgeting: Assist in the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
  • Data Analysis: Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with various departments to gather financial information and support business initiatives.
  • Ad-hoc Projects: Support the finance team with ad-hoc analysis and projects as required.

**Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) is preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within a corporate environment.

  • Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion).

  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
