Head of Professional Services - Aviation Software

Working exclusively with a global software company in the aviation sector, we are recruiting for an experienced Head of Professional Services to spearhead their professional services team. This role is a key position within their Product and Customer Experience Department.

The role is integral to the leadership team, focusing on delivering top-tier professional services, enhancing customer experiences, and contributing to their strategic growth. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in professional services or consulting, with a strong emphasis on leadership, client relationship management, and strategic execution.

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

  • Craft and implement a professional services strategy that aligns with their overarching business objectives.
  • Seek out new business opportunities and work in tandem with the sales team to bolster revenue.
  • Stay abreast of market trends to maintain their competitive edge.
  • Guarantee the seamless onboarding of customers, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Innovate revenue streams through additional services and uphold project management excellence.
  • Launch and establish Digital Consultancy and Training as a Service initiatives.
  • Advance their onboarding process with a focus on regionalisation.
  • Refine project delivery processes and methodologies on an ongoing basis.
  • Manage the Professional Services P&L, including regular financial reporting to the executive team.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to team members, fostering their professional growth.
  • Develop the delivery teams, equipping them with the necessary skills for current and future professional services.
  • Cultivate company-wide relationships to promote departmental goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity within professional services, consulting, or a related sector.
  • Expertise in project management practices.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building abilities.
  • A track record of nurturing client relationships.
  • Proficient in financial management and budget oversight.
  • Strategic thinker with effective plan execution skills.
  • Skilled in project management tools and software.
