An Interim HR Business Partner is sought for a fast-paced regional role within the energy sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of HR tasks, contributing towards the overall success of the Human Resources Department.

This national green energy manufacturing business operates in a niche part of the sector.

Description

The interim HR Business Partner will be responsible for the following duties within the region:

  • Be the first point of contract for managers and employees with employment queries
  • Contribute to the development of people related policies and procedures and roll out to managers
  • Coach line managers to ensure they are capable of supporting with people issues within their teams, including face to face training and mentoring
  • Manage ER case work including conducting grievance, capability investigations and disciplinary meetings
  • Manage change including restructures, TUPE, redundancies.
  • Assist in any HR annual cycle activities
  • Management of all absence management cases, involving occupational health where required
  • Work with the Talent Acquisition Business Partner and assist in any recruitment activities where appropriate
  • Manage the leaver process and conduct all exit processes
  • Supporting the HR Manager on any ad hoc projects
  • Maintain all HR related process and policy documentation, actively contributing to their ongoing development in line with HR best practice
  • Perform all HR administration duties and ensure all documents are filed correctly in the various HR systems

Profile

The successful Interim HR Business Partner should have/be:

  • CIPD level 5 qualification (or equivalent by experience)
  • Up to date knowledge and experience of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Experience of implementing change including TUPE, restructures, redundancies etc.
  • Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Experience of managing HRIS systems
  • Full UK driving licence and flexible to travel, with some overnight stays
  • Available to start a new role on short notice
  • Living in the Yorkshire area

  • Salary of £45-50,000 paid on a PAYE day rate
  • Home based with travel in region
  • 6 month contract
