Rev & Regs are recruiting for an Account Executive (New Business) role on behalf of a well-established Insurance Broker

As a New Business Account Executive, you are a key player in driving the growth and expansion of our client base. With a primary focus on new business acquisition, this role is designed for a dynamic individual who excels in identifying and securing new client opportunities across general insurance.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively seek out potential clients in need of insurance coverage through networking, cold calling, and other outreach methods.
  • Establish strong, long-lasting relationships with new clients by understanding their needs and providing tailored insurance solutions.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build a pipeline of potential clients.
  • Provide expert advice on a wide range of insurance covers, ensuring clients are fully protected.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed new business targets.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments for new clients to provide tailored insurance solutions.
  • Collaborate with Account Handlers to streamline administrative processes and provide mentorship to develop their expertise in managing client books.

Experience Required:

  • Significant experience in the insurance industry, with a strong preference for those with a background in broking or underwriting
  • Proven track record in generating and converting new business leads within the insurance sector.
  • Extensive experience in managing client relationships, with a focus on understanding client needs and providing tailored insurance solutions.
  • Experience representing a company at industry events and building a strong network of potential clients and industry contacts.
  • Ability to negotiate effectively with clients and underwriters to secure favourable terms.
  • Proficiency in insurance software systems and a strong understanding of various insurance products and policies.
  • Relevant industry certifications, such as those from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) (Cert CII, Dip CII, ACII), are highly desirable but not essential.

Salary - £45,000 - £50,000
