As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for working closely with a group of young people living in a residential setting, where you'll provide hands-on and varied support.

Based in North Norfolk, this is a part time, permanent position working 24 hours per week. This opportunity offers a salary for £14,800 - £15,200 depending on experience and qualifications.

The day to day

  • Providing a comprehensive support service, empowering and encouraging service users to reach their full potential, as well as implementing and monitoring care plans tailored for each individual.
  • Maintaining strong working relationships with service users, families, and third party professionals and services to ensure a well-rounded and comprehensive support service.
  • Ensuring compliance with company and legal regulations, as well as the safety of all service users in line with legislation.

You will have/be

  • Experience working with children with learning disabilities and communication difficulties, within a residential environment.
  • Strong communication & listening skills, being able to promote the voice of the child.
  • Knowledge of regulations, legislations and procedures relevant to the role.
