People Service Centre Officer

Summary

We are looking for a HR Administrator to support our busy People Service Centre where you will play a key part in supporting the organisation with the whole end-to-end employee lifecycle. If you are a dedicated and driven individual and you would like to join a fantastic team, then this could be the role for you.

Please note, contractually you will be known as a People Service Centre Officer.

What it's like to work here

Our central head office, Heelis, is situated in Swindon, Wiltshire. We are well placed, with ample parking nearby, a shopping outlet with plenty of options for places to eat and the town centre only a 10 minute walk away. Alternatively, you can enjoy our open plan atrium space for lunch times, plus our internal café.

Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there will be an expectation for you to attend the office, however, there is flexibility. You will be required to work at your contractual place of work 40-60% of your working week.

What you'll be doing

You'll work in our fast-paced People Service Centre as a pivotal link that connects all areas of the employee lifecycle. Using various bespoke systems, you will be responsible for processing a wide range of both complex and high-volume HR processes and staff benefits. As the first contact for the People Services HR mailboxes, you will also provide a professional, customer focussed email support service with the aim of maximising manager and employee capability and deliver a first-class customer experience.

The People Service Centre adopts a "one team" approach and so you'll need to be flexible and work on other people-related activities when required.

  • Experience of working in a high volume, fast paced environment
  • Practical use of different systems & Microsoft applications
  • High degree of accuracy in the work you deliver
  • Effective time management skills to meet critical deadlines
  • Ability to confidently manage sensitive and confidential employee information
