The role of the Technical Support Engineer - Mechanical Services will involve:
- Technical Service Engineer position dealing with the fabrication of modular plantrooms and data centres
- Review and evaluate tender documents, drawings, models, specifications and schedules
- Supporting the design team to understand the scope of works and assist in setting out our schedule of deliverables for the project
- Ensure that projects comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Ensuring correct mark-up of schematics and project layouts to identify the scope of work
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, sub-contractors, and other relevant parties as required
The ideal applicant will be a Technical Support Engineer - Mechanical Services with:
- Must have a Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
- 3+ years working within the building services market sector within sales, technical or engineering capacities
- Sound technical knowledge of plumbing, pipe fitting, piping, fire sprinklers or related
- Understanding of mechanical schematics and building layouts
- Ideally an experienced Revit user
- IT literate (Microsoft Office)
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
- Strong organisation and time management skills
