Operations Administration Manager

Our client is a small, dynamic business with a team of 15-16 professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional service and quality products. They value a collaborative work environment where everyone's contributions matter. They seek an experienced and diligent Operations Manager / Administration Manager to be the right-hand person to the General Manager/MD. This role involves managing daily operations, supervising a team of three (including one remote employee), and ensuring the business runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations and administration and streamline processes.
  • Manage ISO 9001 (2015) administration.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff.
  • Assess staff performance and provide coaching.
  • Ensure smooth information flow within the company.
  • Monitor inventory and recommend procurement.
  • Oversee customer order processing and inventory controls.
  • Maintain effective communication with suppliers and customers.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Step in for the General Manager/MD as needed.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Proven experience in administration/operations management.
  • Strong understanding of office management procedures and policies.
  • Familiarity with financial management principles.
  • Proficient in MS Office and ISO 9001 (2015) quality systems.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Highly organized with a hands-on approach.
  • Willingness to travel with a full UK driving licence.
  • Experience working with senior management.
  • Ability to manage a small team, including remote supervision.
