Are you already a field sales/account manager/territory manager with circa 2 years or more experience selling instruments/consumables/reagents in one or more of the following clinical areas: HbA1c, Protein Electrophoresis, Autoimmunity, Infectious diseases?

Or are you a commercially minded Field Applications Specialist or laboratory based Biomedical Scientist with experience in the above areas are highly motivated to move into a fast paced clinical diagnostics sales role?

The requirements of the Territory Sales Manager - Clinical Diagnostics:

  • The successful candidate will have circa 2 years or more experience selling clinical diagnostic instruments & reagents in one or more of the following areas: HbA1c, Clinical Protein Electrophoresis, In-Vitro Diagnostic Testing, Autoimmunity, Infectious Diseases
  • You will have experience working with NHS stakeholders in areas such as: Clinical Chemistry, Pathology, Blood Sciences, Biochemistry, Haematology, Immunology, or closely related area within an NHS/Clinical Diagnostics environment
  • If not already in clinical diagnostics sales, you could be a commercially minded Field Applications Specialist or laboratory based Biomedical Scientist with experience in the above areas are highly motivated to move into a fast-paced clinical diagnostics sales role
  • You will have a BSc Degree or HND in a life sciences subject, ideally this would be in areas such as Biomedical Science, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Blood Sciences
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel and stay away from home when required
  • Full UK driving licence

**The role of Territory Sales Manager - Clinical Diagnostics:

  • Achieve agreed sales and profit targets for instrumentation and reagents
  • Responsible for managing and developing growth for my client's business and for coordinating company activity within a designated territory for both active customer accounts and prospective accounts
  • To identify key decision makers and stakeholders across each account and effectively implement our sales cycle to ensure positive tender outcomes
  • Responsible for all communications between personnel and the customer and for ensuring new product implementations go smoothly
  • Develop demand for, and adoption of, new assays and instrumentation
  • Work closely with internal resources to develop and implement customer specific strategies
  • Identify and inform the Commercial Manager and Product Manager of competitor activities or customer trends within the territory
  • Monitor and manage contract compliance, often engaging with Managed Service Providers
  • Proactive assistance in tender projects, working closely with my client's personnel to develop tailored proposals
  • Awareness of and proactive adaption to local changes to customer structure, including laboratory networking and consolidation, procurement hubs and developments in clinical care and commissioning pathways
  • Maintain diary schedule and manage customer information in the CRM (Microsoft Dynamics)
  • Deliver product and scientific presentations to customers, focusing on how the solution can address their established needs

Salary & Benefits:
