What you'll do:

As a Procurement Manager - Indirects, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the procurement strategy within our organisation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve developing category strategies that protect the business from potential risks. You'll manage various procurement activities including tendering activity, contract renewals, new sourcing initiatives and contract awards. You'll also maintain the Contracts Register, update supplier agreements with new legislation or regulations, provide insightful reports and data to help manage third party spend. Additionally, you'll act as a Super User for procurement systems and processes, driving increased automation and use of AI.

  • Develop and implement category strategies ensuring risks and issues are appropriately mitigated or escalated
  • Manage tendering activity, contract renewals, new sourcing initiatives and contract awards to deliver cost savings or improved services
  • Maintain the Contracts Register, ensuring stakeholders can identify the commercial benefits of agreements
  • Update supplier agreements with new legislation or regulations
  • Provide insightful reports and data based on financial commitments, cost savings and forward strategies
  • Act as Super User for procurement systems and processes driving increased automation and use of AI

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Procurement Manager - Indirects position brings a wealth of experience in similar roles. You have strong knowledge of contract management and governance, with proven experience in negotiating contract terms and conditions. You're proficient in using ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, have intermediate Excel skills, and are familiar with all Microsoft Office packages. Your excellent negotiation skills enable you to manage complex tenders effectively. You possess strong numerical and analytical skills, and you're resilient and decisive in making fast-paced decisions.

  • Strong knowledge of contract management and governance
