This company are a specialist provider of protective equipment for the military, emergency services and first responders, and have a history that stretches back well over a century. Market leaders in their field, the company has a drive for technical excellence which is reflected in the quality of their product range. Due to the recent release of a new cutting-edge product, they are looking to bring in new talent to their engineering team to help drive their trajectory of growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Product Engineer to join a dynamic team of experts and further develop their skillset. You will be responsible for engineering support for a specific product, which will include fault finding, fault analysis, design and testing. The product itself is a rebreather, used in special operations diving, so experience with underwater systems or any kind of diving equipment would be highly beneficial.
This role would suit a Product Engineer seeking new avenues to channel their career, in a position with a competitive overall package, and excellent training and development opportunities.
The Role:
- Product engineering work on an underwater rebreather
- Will involve both desk-based and hands on work
- Standard working week, Monday-Friday
The Candidate:
- Prior experience in Product Engineering, or strong engineering background with mechanical/electronic understanding
- An engineering degree or equivalent qualification would be advantageous
- Previous experience with underwater systems, diving equipment or similar would be highly beneficial
