We are working with a highly respected and established law firm based in Medway, Kent, seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to join their expanding team. This firm is known for its compassionate, client-centered approach, especially in sensitive family law matters such as divorce, child arrangements, and financial settlements.

The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload, providing expert legal advice while supporting clients through often stressful and emotional situations. You will play a key role in court proceedings, negotiations, and preparing key legal documents, making a tangible impact on the lives of families.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert legal advice in family law, including divorce, child arrangements, and financial settlements.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations.
  • Draft applications, agreements, and court orders with a high level of accuracy.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including social workers and financial advisors.
  • Manage case files and meet deadlines to ensure smooth progression.

Requirements

  • Qualified Lawyer with a practising certificate in family law.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in simple terms.
  • Strong IT skills for managing case files and documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple cases efficiently.
  • Empathy and professionalism when working with clients during emotional and stressful times.
