Job Title: Database Developer
Contract Duration: 6 months with the possibility of extension
Key Responsibilities:
- Design stable, reliable, and secure databases.
- Collaborate with scientific and technical staff to develop, test, maintain, and document new data flows from multiple data sources/types to centralised data warehouses.
- Catalogue existing automated data flows, implement, investigate/resolve issues where they may arise, and implement improvements.Provide technical support to end-users for database-related issues.
- Provide contingencies for database administrative tasks.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- At least a level 4 qualification in Computing, Software Engineering, or another discipline relevant to Information Systems and Information Technology
- At least 3 years' experience working in database design and development in a corporate environment using SQL Server 2014 or above.Advanced understanding of SQL programming and database optimisation.
