Key Skills
- Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Experience of PLC systems & Automated machinery
- Ideally HND/HNC Qualified
The Role
The ideal candidate will come from an electrical multi skilled engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with probably an electrical bias (but multi-skilled) and have PPM and TPM manufacturing experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximising machine efficiencies. You will have worked on PLC systems, Servo Drives and electric motors, from an automation and controls perspective. Also having knowledge of injection mould machinery, extrusion lines, CNC machines, gearboxes, pumps, general mechanical work and other manufacturing machinery. There is a huge amount of training on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
