SANZA Teaching Agency is currently working with an exciting two-form entry primary school based in the borough of Wandsworth currently looking for an ambitious and forward-thinking Teaching Assistant to join their team. This position is due to start on thew 2nd September 2024 on a full-time basis for the full academic year with an opportunity of a permanent contract with the school form September 2026. The position of Teaching Assistant is paying a daily rate of £90.00 to £105.00 per day PAYE.

As a Teaching Assistant in this school your role will be to work in key stage 2 and support the Year 4 class teacher by helping supervise students in the classroom, work with children on an individual, small group or whole class basis. You will be required to ensure students are making regular progress and promote positive behaviour. This is a general teaching assistant position.

To be shortlisted for this Teaching Assistant role, you will need to have:

  • A level 3 early childhood diploma or higher OR experience in primary education
  • Good organisational skills
  • Understanding of Key stage 2 Curriculum
  • Patient with a sense of humour
  • Confident in working independently or in a group setting
  • Enjoy working with students and aspire to be a primary teacher
