Hours: Working hours are 8am to 4pm daily, term time only plus 10 days.
Our client is a Performing Arts College set in a stunning 24-hectare site, blessed with its own school farm, and adjacent to a Country Park in this wonderful area of outstanding natural beauty on the beautiful Kent coast.
The school is an 11-19 Academy with Performing Arts and Rural dimension status. It is a popular school of 1,300 students situated in rural surroundings on the edge of the Cinque Port of Hythe.
The Role
The exams officer is responsible for the organisation and smooth running of both internal and external examinations. The officer will act as the primary contact between the school and external examination bodies. They will be familiar with the requirements and regulations placed in schools by both awarding bodies and the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) and will ensure that the school is compliant with these before, during, and after examination periods.
The post will also involve curriculum administration support and completing any other tasks as directed by the principal.
