Pertemps Work Based Learning are now looking to engage with Digital IT Skills Tutors/Skills Coaches who are looking for their next role!
Key Duties of the Digital Skills Tutor/Assessor
- Deliver engaging learning programmes in order to support learners towards their qualification in Network and Cyber Security, Social Media and eCommerce and Digital Business Solutions including Data Analytics.
- Use and develop a wide range of resources and techniques, tailored to learners' individual needs.
- Observe and review work produced by learners to ensure it is of the appropriate standard to reflect the learner's qualification and meet the needs of the qualification.
- Provide insightful, constructive, and informative feedback to help the learner maximise their potential.
- Proactively monitor, evaluate, and improve the quality and effectiveness of own workload and working practices to ensure deadlines and targets are met and that the learner has an outstanding experience.
- Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience required for the Digital Skills Tutor
- An enthusiastic and engaging personality in order to help deliver the most impactful training sessions to learners.
- Teaching Qualification (PTLLS, AET, PGCE or equivalent).
- A minimum Level 4 Qualification in IT or Digital
- Assessors Award such as TAQA, CAVA, A1 would be highly desirable
- Experience in delivering training and coaching sessions to learners.
- Ability to demonstrate up to date vocational competence, alongside sector knowledge in Digital IT Skills.
- Knowledge of Network and Cyber Security, Social Media and eCommerce and Digital Business Solutions including Data Analytics.
