Grafton Banks Finance are working with a growing commercial company with offices in Polegate, East Sussex to recruit a Part Qualified Management Accountant on a full-time basis. Offering hybrid working 2 days in office and 3 days from home. Reporting into the Group Finance Director and working a team you will be responsible for supporting in the smooth running of the companies finance processes and assisting in month end management accounts.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Assist in preparation of management accounts (income statement & balance sheet).
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
- Intercompany reconciliations.
- Sales and purchases analysis.
- Analysing various financial data and reporting.
- Review staff expenses.
- Liaising with and preparing audit evidence for statutory audit.
- Preparation of VAT returns for UK and Ireland.
- Provide cover for other finance team colleagues, including both sales and purchase ledger functions.
- Provide frontline financial support to the Group Financial Controller.
The successful candidate will have proven practical experience within finance. You will have previous working management accounts experience, data analysis and reporting. You will need to have strong communication skills and IT skills including strong Excel skills and proficient in various accounting software.
