Your new company
An active investment management group which manages over £20 billion AUM with an investment performance-led ethos headquartered in London manages a range of long-only equity and multi-asset strategies and requires a Tax & Regulatory Accountant to join a busy finance team to undertake a 6-month FTC covering a secondee.

Your new role
Preparation of the VAT returns on a quarterly basis, prepare monthly corporation tax calculations, update of corporation tax procedures and calculations, prepare monthly transfer pricing journals throughout the group, update the firms cost allocation and the revenue allocation models, update to the transfer pricing policy, preparation and submission of the regulatory returns, monitor of the firm's regulatory capital position, assist with ICARA stress testing analysis, liaise with auditors with audit queries, preparation of cash flow statements for board reporting and financial statements and assist in preparation of dividend calculations.
What you'll need to succeed
A technically strong outgoing general qualified accountant who enjoys detail and is willing to learn and pick things up, ideally with Asset Management or Financial services experience, has some exposure to VAT, UK Corporate Tax and understands transfer pricing, although these can be picked up. Strong attention to detail combined with intermediate Excel skills (this is essential) will suit somebody who enjoys a broad role and thrives on variety. Personality is key to the success of this person as they will be liaising across the business
