The Role

We are recruiting a part-time Property Administrator, to job-share with the existing Administrator, and support the Kent Estate Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking for a varied role, in a fast-paced environment, in a friendly team, and want to have a great work-life balance.

Duties include:

- Be the first point of contact for tenants, customers and contractors.
- Maintain the Estate IT system for land and property holdings, including logging maintenance issues, dealing with diary actions and making any required amendments.
- Arrange necessary compliance works e.g. boiler servicing, electrical tests, etc and maintain efficient logs.
- Assist in the property lettings process, including conducting viewings, organising references, production of tenancy documentation, check ins/outs, inventories, deposit registration, EPCs, etc.
- Maintain efficient order log for processing purchase orders; process sales invoices and rent and service charge invoices; chase outstanding invoices and rental payments; maintain logs of outstanding debtors, lease expiries and rent renewals; and managing direct debit payments.
- Manage the petty cash, order stationery and other sundry items.
- Develop and maintain an efficient filing system.
- Provide general administrative support to the Kent Estate Manager.

About You:

You will need:

- Good standard of education, including GCSE Level 4 Maths and English (or equivalent).
- Previous administrative and customer service experience, and preferably previous property management administrative experience.
- Excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise, and a high degree of attention to detail.
- Excellent timekeeping.
- Excellent IT skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and database management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, professional attitude, polite and good levels of personal presentation.
- Flexible and positive attitude.
- Capable of working to the highest standards with integrity, discretion and good humour.
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence and own transport to travel to and from work.
