General Maintenance London – across the N22 area
- Full time or part time available for the right candidate
- £15 - £19 per hour depending on experience
- Flexible working hours, weekend availability if preferred
- Driving licence is essential
Details of the role:
As a General Maintenance Person / Handyman / Tradesman, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our residential homes, supported living accommodations, and domiciliary care settings are maintained to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Performing various maintenance tasks such as gardening, groundwork, plumbing, plastering, and painting, jetwashing
- Undertaking repairs and renovations as needed to ensure the safety, cleanliness, and security of our facilities
- Utilising your diverse skill set to tackle a variety of projects, ranging from minor repairs to larger-scale renovations such as extensions
- Keeping company-provided vehicles, including vans, in good working condition and adhering to maintenance standards, including a weekly wash of the van
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a variety of trades, including but not limited to plumbing, plastering, painting, and gardening, would be highly advantageous
- Demonstrated proficiency in performing maintenance tasks and repairs
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, prioritising tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and clients
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed
- A valid UK driving licence
