I am working with a well established company who are looking for an experienced Accounts Asssitant to join their small office team, particularly someone with a background in the supply sector. Candidate Requirements
- Accounts administration experience
- Confidence in Microsoft Packages
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Organisational and time-management skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
Key Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: accurately processing incoming invoices, verifying their correctness, and ensure they are authorised for payment.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Assist in maintaining the accounts payable and receivable ledgers including preparing payments and chasing overdue accounts. Expense Management: Credit card transaction reconciliation and posting.
- Payroll: Assist with the processing of monthly payroll
- Month End: Assist with month end tasks
