Community Safety Officer

We're looking to recruit an experienced Community Safety Officer on behalf of a housing association in Liverpool on a temporary basis with hourly rates up to £22ph, where you will manage your own caseload of anti-social behaviour, hate crime, domestic abuse and other tenancy breach cases.

Key responsibilities

  • Overseeing a caseload of various ASB & tenancy breach cases including hate crime, domestic abuse and noise nuisance
  • Undertaking investigations, drafting witness statements and preparing legal documentation for court proceedings
  • Visiting customers in them homes, supporting them to live safely and build positive relationships
  • Working in partnership with external agencies and key stakeholders to reduce levels of ASB, such as Police, Local Authority and Social Services.
  • Self-representation in court on behalf of the organisation if required

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience of ASB management including taking legal action and court representation
  • Experience of drafting thorough witness statements and preparing legal documentation
  • Knowledge of relevant housing legislation including ASB, Crime & Policing Act
  • Ability to manage complex caseload efficiently, maintain accurate records and work on own initiative
