Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Chief Financial Officer to join the team.

Location: Manchester (hybrid)

Salary: £170-180K + competitive package

Job Type/Hours: Permanent, Full Time

About The Company:

Our client is a leading financial services organisation, Head Quartered in Manchester, who have experienced exponential growth over recent years. With subsidiaries across Europe, they provide a range of banking, insurance and compliance solutions for both consumers and businesses, and are regulated by the FCA and PRA.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to bring onboard an experienced CFO who can shape their finance function and contribute towards the future success of the UK business. This is a key role supporting the CEO and providing key strategic input into the vision and objectives for the UK business.

Chief Financial Officer – The Role:

The role is a key member of the UK's Senior Leadership Team, responsible for all financial matters including reporting, treasury, FP&A and risk management. You will be providing input into all M&A activity from a financial perspective, whilst ensuring a best-in-class financial department. You will contribute toward the strategic direction of the business and help drive a high-performance culture across the organisation.

Chief Financial Officer – Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic financial support to CEO, setting the overall financial strategy and make significant contributions to the overall business strategy
  • Lead on the communication of day-to-day business operation from a financial perspective
  • Ensure the timely and accurate production of key reports and metrics to key internal stakeholders
  • Maintain control of all financial systems and processes within the business, ensuring continuous improvement of the entire function

Chief Financial Officer – You:

  • Fully qualified accountant with previous experience of working in a senior leadership role within the financial services sector
  • Strong knowledge and experience of working with FCA and PRA approved organisations
  • Sound commercial knowledge and data analysis skills
  • Results orientated and able to make financial recommendations to improve overall business performance
  • Prior experience of working within a fast-growing organisation
