Employment Law Solicitor
looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a solicitor with strong technical knowledge and a commercial mindset to independently manage and run employment law litigation claims.
Join our well-established solicitor's firm, where you will handle a variety of
respondent and claimant matters
, with cases ranging from
ACAS Early Conciliation
to final hearings. You will be responsible for a small caseload that includes both privately funded and insurance-backed claims, working alongside an HR consultancy to deliver expert legal services.
Key Responsibilities

Case Management: Independently manage a small but diverse caseload of employment law claims, ensuring efficiency and effective handling from inception to conclusion.

Litigation: Manage all aspects of employment law litigation, including:

Drafting pleadings, statements of case, and witness statements.

Attending Preliminary Hearings (PHRs) and Case Management Discussions (CMDs).

Conducting settlement negotiations and advising clients on outcomes.

Managing disclosure processes, including electronic and manual document review.

Client Interaction: Provide clear, concise, and commercially-focused advice to clients, maintaining strong communication throughout.

Collaboration: Work closely with legal colleagues and HR consultants to ensure cohesive case strategies.

Stay Updated: Keep up to date with employment law developments to provide high-quality legal services.
Candidate Requirements

Qualifications: Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with a valid Practicing Certificate.

Experience: Demonstrated experience in managing employment law claims and familiarity with tribunal procedures.
