Full time driver required in the Greenford area - Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm 45 Hours per week with weekly pay @ £13.50 per hour.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and commercial driving experience.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and secure packaging
- Plan routes and follow delivery schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery details
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and signatures
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license
- Proven experience as a commercial driver or van driver
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus
