School Receptionist

Are you seekinga school receptionist role in Liverpool? Have you previously worked as a receptionist in a busy office or even a school environment? Are you confident on the phone? We are currently recruiting an experienced receptionist to work in a school based in the Sefton area

  • At least six months previous experience in a school which we can reference, as a working knowledge of the education environment and specific systems is essential
  • Proven safeguarding knowledge and understanding
  • An extensive background in secretarial work, and especially PA work
  • Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing
  • High standards of numeracy and literacy, especially spelling and grammar
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • A strong work ethic and a professional attitude
  • The ability to work under pressure to deadlines as part of a very busy team
  • Experience of HR administration (for example contracts and payroll) would also be an advantage

This is a great opportunity to work as part of a committed supply team with a great reputation. Responsibilities could include:-

  • Welcoming visitors, answering enquiries, coordinate deliveries, and support school staff
  • Manage front desk operations, maintain records, schedule appointments, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Perform clerical duties, manage student attendance, handle correspondence, and ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain a professional image, handle confidential information, assist with administrative tasks, and provide a warm reception.
