About the Role:

Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual to lead their ambitious client acquisition and retention strategy. This is a pivotal role within our organisation, responsible for driving growth, enhancing satisfaction, and building a high-performing team.

The Director of Engagement is responsible for the growth and recruitment of clients as well as, the engagement and retention of their existing network.

The role involves overseeing client recruitment and retention. This includes managing a sales team to convert leads into client, implementing a customer-focused culture, and developing strategies to retain existing client through communication, engagement, and satisfaction measurement. Additionally, it entails creating a comprehensive client proposition with benefits and support services and managing overall client communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • In conjunction with the Chief Commercial Officer set and communicate the local client recruitment strategy for this ethical and nurturing charity.
  • Work with agencies and the team to deliver the annual client recruitment target.
  • Define the process of client recruitment from enquiry to approval and manage the conversion pipeline of all inbound enquiries.
  • Build and communicate a market leading proposition to their existing base.
  • Develop and implement a robust communication programme.
  • In collaboration with the wider team manage the retention of our existing base.
  • Ensure that teams are inducted into all the relevant processes and procedures related to client recruitment and provide teams with their local recruitment budget for the financial year.
  • Communicate regularly with the Regional Directors about the recruitment opportunities and challenges or their regions.
  • Provide data to the wider team on group performance and manage the reporting of the monthly approvals and source of enquiry information
  • Set Referral incentives, keeping them meaningful and relevant in collaboration with the CCO.
  • Create innovative and new ways to recruit client locally to cascade to the group.
  • Analyse recruitment data to help improve and inform local recruitment performance.
  • Liaise with L&D to ensure that client teams and other groups of colleagues within the business are kept up to date with Recruitment training.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders in the foster recruitment journey.
  • Oversee and support productive working relationships with affinity partners and suppliers to the recruitment enquiry funnel.
