Skills and experience
- Must have strong experience with C/C++.
- Strong competency in Linux (Unix) operating systems, including the ability to write shell scripts.
- 3 years of experience in programming at least.

Core Responsibilities
- Software Development: Design and implement software based on detailed system and module design documentation, while adhering to SOLID principles.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough unit testing to ensure software aligns with design specifications and company standards, including screen layouts and behaviour.
- Continuous Improvement: Utilise your experience to challenge and refine designs when necessary, following the agreed change control processes.
- Timely Delivery: Develop software within the project timelines, or provide early feedback if deadlines are at risk.
- Client Support: Assist the client/commissioning team during the early life phase of the software, ensuring smooth transitions and support.
- Issue Reporting: Use Jira to log and report any faults in the core package software.
