SALARY: £27,128 - £30,349 FTE / Actual Annual Salary £14,865 to £16,630

LOCATION: Hybrid with a mixture of working onsite inCoventry, West Midlands (CV4) and from home

JOB TYPE: Part-Time, 24 Month Fixed Term Contract

WORKING HOURS: 20 hours per week (flexibility on days/times)

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Content Management & Digital Support Coordinatorwho has experience of using HTML, CSS and JavaScript to update the organisation's website, add new web pages, create HTML email templates and take the lead on small digital projects.

This role is known officially within the organisation as a Digital Support Coordinator.

Working as the Content Management & Digital Support Coordinator you will assist the Digital Applications Manager with updates to the organisation's Digital Applications, leading on small digital projects ensuring content is up to date on all platforms.

As the Content Management & Digital Support Coordinator you will also assign tasks to Digital Support Assistants while supporting and guiding them.

As a successful candidate you will need working knowledge and experience using HTML, CSS and JavaScript and awareness of UI/UX best practices.

DUTIES

Your duties as a Content Management & Digital Support Coordinator will include:

  • Assist the Digital Applications Manager with the day to day updating of the organisation's Digital Applications as required by the team /other depts
  • Lead on small digital projects
  • Assigning tasks to Digital Support Assistants and checking task/project completion
  • Support and guide the Digital Support Assistants with their day-to-day tasks
  • Adding events and news articles to the organisation's website
  • Adding new pages, and updating existing content on the organisation's website
  • Assessing a selection of digital applications and providing suggestions to the Digital Applications Manager for which is most appropriate
  • Create HTML email templates as required
  • Support with responding to general enquiries and troubleshooting
  • Manage workload and prioritise activity in line with demands and in agreement with line manager
  • Attending regular team meetings and 1-2-1s with your line manager
  • Undertake all administrative work in relation to the role as necessary, for example: Weekly and monthly updates, updating project status report
  • Commit to reducing the organisations environmental impact and promote environmental and ethical good practice

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Essential

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent (IT-related subject desirable)
  • Working knowledge and experience of using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Strong knowledge of any programming language such as Python
  • Awareness of UI/UX best practices
  • Experience managing digital projects
  • Strong IT skills: knowledge of the Microsoft 365 packages
  • Must be a quick learner, logical thinker and be able to process and interpret information in a timely manner
  • The ability to deliver at all times exceptional customer service to all internal / external customers
  • Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills
  • Able to work under pressure and prioritise workload to meet deadlines
  • Able to work as part of a team and use own initiative
  • Must be committed, positive and hardworking
  • Committed to the principles and practices of equality and diversity

Desirable

  • At least one year of experience working in a similar position
  • Experience working in Students' Union/University
  • Experience in uploading content and data using website CMS
  • Experience of using MSL applications
  • Experience working in an agile team
  • Knowledge of UI/UX collaboration tool such as Adobe XD
