Reed Accountancy are excited to be working with a regular client of ours, and this time, they require our support for an Assistant Accountant position.
This is a full-time, permanent role, paying a salary of £26,000 - £28,000 per annum (depending on experience).
- 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday (working hours 9am-5pm)
- 24 days holiday + bank holidays

Based at their office in Stockton, collaborating with offices around the world. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and maintaining the Purchase and Sales Ledger
- Inputting purchase invoices
- Matching PO numbers, checking and coding of invoices
- Bank Reconciliations
- PO Amendments
- VAT Returns
- Expenses
- Sales invoices
- Credit Control
- Assistant Management Accountants with Month-End procedures
- Foreign exchange and inter-company balances
- Weekly meetings with the Ops and Finance Managers
For this role, you must be proficient using Sage 50 and Microsoft Excel. You will be AAT qualified or working towards CIMA/ACCA with a minimum of two years' experience in a similar role.
