Fantastic opportunity to lead a motivated team of recruiters within the healthcare sector either remotely or from our office in Harrogate with a salary of £80K OTE: up to £40K Base + £10K Commission + Profit related bonus up to £30K

Are you a recruitment manager or an experienced recruiter looking for an opportunity to mentor support and lead a small team of motivated recruiters.

We are open to considering applications for this role on a 100% remote basis but can also offer the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis out of our beautiful office in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. Should you be within a commutable distance from our HQ. We are open to also considering applications form those outside of the UK too.

Operating for just under 20 Years, we (Prospect Health) are a globally recognised provider of talent to the Medical and Healthcare sector, working across numerous vertical markets both in the UK and International markets, representing some of the world's most cutting edge and esteemed organisations.

This role would see you take the reins of one of our longest standing and most successful divisions and with it a very established client base, well developed database of candidates and large book of existing vacancies. You would also be part of a wider business network of over 70 employees supporting and delivering recruitment services across many healthcare niches'. Giving you the opportunity to learn and grow alongside other managers with similar objectives within parallel vertical markets.

You would retain an initial active interest in running small billing area with modest billing target as well as having overall responsibility for mentoring, supporting and driving a team of 5 remote consultants, who all handle geographical and role-based territories within the same UK specialism.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and Inspire: Oversee a team of 5 remote consultants, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure their success.
  • Billing & Client Management: Manage your own client portfolio, actively contributing to the company's revenue through sourcing, client management, and placements.
  • Strategic Development: Set clear goals for your team, monitor performance, and ensure best practices are followed to drive results.
  • Take responsibility for the P&L and annual business plan for you division reporting upwards on a regular basis to the directors of the business.
  • Remote Collaboration: Foster a strong, communicative team environment, ensuring productivity and cohesion despite geographical dispersion.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Host daily check-ins, coach and mentor team members, and conduct performance reviews to keep the team motivated and on track.
  • Recruitment Process Oversight: Ensure high-quality standards in candidate sourcing, screening, and client interactions.
  • Client & Candidate Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates, understanding their needs and ensuring excellent service.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Monitor KPIs, team performance, and billing data to make strategic improvements.
  • Operational Efficiency: Oversee recruitment workflows, ensure compliance, and manage contracts and invoicing to streamline operations.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven Experience: Minimum of 3 years in recruitment with a successful billing history ideally within a permanent setting.
  • Leadership Skills: Experience in managing or mentoring a team, with the ability to inspire and develop remote staff.
  • Self-Motivated: A driven individual who thrives on meeting personal and team targets.
  • Excellent Communicator: Ability to effectively collaborate with a dispersed team and build strong relationships with clients.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using digital tools, CRM systems, and ATS platforms to manage remote teams and recruitment processes.
