An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and business-focused HR Advisor to join a highly visible HR team here at Reed. This role is perfect for a self-starting, energetic individual with a passion for HR, who enjoys a variety of tasks and is adept at communicating with people at all levels. The successful candidate will provide support, advice, and guidance on strategic projects and employee relations issues, ensuring HR policies and procedures are adhered to fairly and consistently.

Day to day of the role:

  • Act as the first HR point of contact for a highly operational and rapidly changing business area.
  • Support the management team in the management of employee relations casework.
  • Work proactively with senior stakeholders to improve employee engagement and productivity.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with relevant teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Utilise and sometimes run business analysis reports to make recommendations for business improvements.
  • Interpret Management Information such as headcount, employee satisfaction survey data, diversity information, absence data, and other relevant business-critical data.
  • Coordinate and manage a communications calendar to ensure consistent and organised messaging.
  • Undertake and assist with strategic HR projects, including constructing and maintaining project plans and providing project updates and reports.
  • Maintain HR records and electronic filing systems.
  • Perform other HR administration duties as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Generalist HR experience within a fast-moving environment.
  • Sound legislative knowledge.
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and time-management skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving targets and goals, with project management experience.
  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with utmost integrity.
  • Resilient and results-driven work ethic.
  • Team player with a willingness to take ownership and tackle challenges head-on.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
