Are you ready for a rewarding challenge as a Software Engineering Manager? At MHR we are looking for individuals eager to lead our highly skilled and successful MHR Agile Software Development Team, shaping the future of work with innovative products.?

This role is perfect for someone ready to step up into an engineering management role, we are looking for candidates with the following skillsets:

  • Leadership and management abilities to motivate and guide software professionals.
  • Strong technical skills and understanding of software development concepts and technologies.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing a cross-functional team of software engineers and testers whilst providing mentoring and coaching??
  • Ensure best practices in Software Development are maintained.?
  • Ensure quality, scalability, and maintainability of code and software architecture.?
  • Monitor team performance and set performance goals, conducting regular performance evaluations, and providing feedback.?
  • Working with Scrum Masters, Identify and address any issues or challenges faced by the team and implement solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.?
  • Drive a generative culture of high cooperation where learning is the heart of everything we do??
  • Work closely with the Product Design Team to manage the resources required, to achieve the product roadmaps considering recruitment, training and the acquisition of tools and frameworks in a timely fashion to avoid delays in delivery?

Skills:?

  • Able to demonstrate leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of software professionals.?
  • Strong technical skills and a solid understanding of software development concepts and technologies.?
  • Good understanding of what software architecture looks like?
  • Proficient in Agile development methodologies?
  • Understanding of Continuous Delivery best practices?
  • Awareness of security requirements for handling sensitive information?
  • A team oriented individual with a passion for engineered excellence?
  • A passion for innovation, people management and improvement?
  • You appreciate the importance of keeping a positive team and culture?
  • Confident with introducing new ideas and motivating a diverse team?
