- Role - Finishing Assistant
- Rate of Pay - £11.44 ph, OT 1 - £17.16 ph and OT 2 - £22.88
- Location - DS Smith, D. C. Griffiths Way, Neath SA11 1BT, United Kingdom
- Job Type - Temp to Perm , Initially for 3 months with possibility of getting permanent
- Hours: 37.5 hours in a week (excluding breaks), Rotational, Monday to Thursday: Morning 6am - 2pm and Afternoon 2pm - 10pm and Friday: Morning 6am - 11:30am afternoon 11:30am - 5pm
Responsibilities:
- Operate on gluing lines, feeding boards into machines.
- Place cartons into corrugated boxes ready for warehouse storage.
- Any packing or manufacturing experience is beneficial.
- Ideal candidates with manufacturing experience may progress to operator roles.
- Candidates who perform well may be considered for permanent positions and further development/upskilling.
Essential Experience:
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
- Driving licence and Must drive/bike due to the nature of the shift pattern
- Familiarity with Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) processes
- Experience in machine operation
- General factory experience
Desirable Experience:
- Forklift Truck (FLT) Certification
- FMCG Background
