SEN Head of Maths

Position: Head Of Maths ????

Location: Thornton Heath ??

Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday ?

Placement: Temporary (with potential for permanent) ??

Daily Rate: Paid according to your teaching scale ??

Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) ?

Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead and manage the Maths department, spearheading curriculum development and implementation ??
  • Deliver top-notch teaching to students aged 14-19 with SEMH needs, ADHD, and other behavioural challenges �???
  • Craft and execute engaging lessons tailored to diverse learning styles �???
  • Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback and support ????
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment through collaboration with colleagues ??�?

Skills Required:

  • QTS is a must-have for this role �??
  • Extensive experience in teaching Maths, preferably in a similar SEN setting ????
  • Strong leadership and organisational chops to steer the department ship ????
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the unique needs of every student ????
  • Stellar communication skills to connect with students, colleagues, and parents/carers ????
  • A heart full of patience, empathy, and genuine passion for guiding young minds �???
