We are looking for a dedicated Lecturer in Health & Social Care to join our client's successful and vibrant team at the College. This role involves delivering a range of courses to learners, primarily aged 16-19, to prepare them for careers in the health and social care sector. The successful candidate will teach across the Level 3 T Level Technical Qualification in Health and BTEC Health and Social Care Levels 1, 2, and 3.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching across the Level 3 T Level Technical Qualification in Health and BTEC Health and Social Care Levels 1, 2, and 3.
  • Plan and prepare engaging lessons that cater to the needs of all students.
  • Assess, monitor, support and record student progress.
  • Provide academic and pastoral support to students.
  • Develop and update course material in line with current industry standards.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of teaching strategies and departmental goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A degree in Nursing or a related area with current or recent clinical experience in the health/social care sector.
  • Experience in teaching or training, with a willingness to work towards a Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector if not already obtained (support provided).
  • Strong commitment to student success and quality teaching.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
